Inspire. Educate. Enrich in Music.

MusicFest Fanfare is a go! This year MusicFest Fanfare is set for April 15 – 17, 2015. We will have Vanier Hall again, and a new set of adjudicators (to be announced!). We are really looking forward to seeing and hearing all of the hard work our students bring to the stage!

Please mark it on your calendar! See you there!

Welcome to MusicFest Fanfare!

About MusicFest Fanfare

It all began in 2000…

The success of the past fourteen years has seen our festival grow. MusicFest Fanfare is organized and supported by the Band Teachers of the Prince George School District No. 57. MusicFest Fanfare provides an outstanding venue at Vanier Hall in hopes to keep the performance experience at its best for all involved. Our festival is directly affiliated with MusicFest Canada and invitations to MusicFest Canada are available for deserving ensembles from this festival.

MusicFest Fanfare is an annual event that bring together young musicians from all over Prince George and the surrounding area. Participants range in age from 10-18 years and are mostly  drawn from the elementary and high school levels. We also feature local community bands as well. The festival is held each year in April, usually near the middle to the end of the month.

MusicFest Fanfare is a wonderful experience in combining music and education and is a moving force in the cultural life of young musicians in Prince George and the surrounding area. Fanfare is dedicated to the promotion of performance excellence in music.
